It Prevents Wood from Rotting
If your house is made of wood, you should consider the need to refresh your home’s paint every so often. Considering, the older the paint gets, the more it is likely to flake, chip, and peel. When this happens, moisture and even precipitation may get trapped between your house and your paint, causing the wood to rot. Eventually, it can wreck the structure of your home and so, don’t wait for that to happen and instead, have us paint and protect your exteriors right away.
Our Process for Exterior Painting:
Painting your home’s exterior is not as easy as just applying the paint. The proper preparatory work should be completed first. So, read on to learn about our company’s process for performing our exterior painting services:
We will power wash the home’s exteriors to remove the dirt and grime accumulated over time fully. This process is an essential step for it ensures that the fresh paint to be applied will adhere to your home’s exterior successfully.
After pressure washing, we scrape off loose paint chips from the exterior surface to allow the paint to adhere to the surface better. Our painters scrape off all paint that has peeled.
In the case of dirt or loose rocks, our professionals will remove them to make sure that the paint is applied below the ground surface.
Surfaces that will not get painted such as gutters and window screens will be masked off to guard them against the new paint.
We recaulk any damaged caulk found around the property. Our painters would also examine all siding and trim so that the loose boards, in case there are any could be fixed by securing them.
In the case of dirt or loose rocks, our professionals will remove them to make sure that the paint is applied below the ground surface.
Depending on its condition, certain surfaces must receive a primer coat before getting the two final coats of paint. Again, our priming process allows the paint to adhere more securely to your exterior surface to prevent peeling in the future. Our painter will then apply two topcoats of paint on your home’s exterior for overall coverage and better protection.
There’s more to do after the paint has been applied. We promise never to leave your property looking messy. So, we will clean any mess up and take off all the masking left on your home’s exteriors. We promise to leave your house completely spotless.
